Bank Robbed In North Syracuse

 

Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a bank in North Syracuse Monday afternoon.

At about 2:55 PM Monday, a white male approached the counter of the Seneca Federal Savings Bank located at 201 N. Main Street in the Village of North Syracuse and demanded money.

The male, described as being approximately 6’03”, 180lbs, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, white sunglasses and a mask, fled out the rear doors of the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. The male was last seen running west towards through the banks parking lot towards the North Syracuse Fire Department.

No weapons were threatened or displayed and no injuries were reported.

The bank robbery is currently being investigated jointly by the North Syracuse Police Department and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone with any information regarding the bank robbery is asked to call the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 435-3081.
