Cazenovia Police Stepping Up Patrols

Cazenovia Police are investigating reports of a possible stalker in town.

Village police say they are investigating five separate incidents of women who reported being followed while they were out walking or riding their bikes.

The incidents have been reported near Sullivan and Linklean Streets and near Maple Road.

Police are now tracking down leads and are looking for either a orange car or a black truck.

Police Chief Michael Hayes say it's stepping up patrols in the village and none of the women involved were actually approached. He says it's not clear whether the incidents are related.

Police say they're not sure whether there was any malicious intent.
