Cuomo Announces $14.5M In Broadband Grants

Governor Andrew Cuomo is providing over $14 million dollars in grants to expand the reach of broadband internet service across New York.

Cuomo announced that New York's Empire State Development has approved over $14 and a half million dollars in grants to expand broadband access service for almost 30,000 residents and 2,000 businesses in the state. Among the nine projects receiving funding are $2.2 million for expanded coverage in Tompkins and Cayuga counties, and nearly $2 million for Oswego County.
