Parking Warnings For Saturday's Duke Game

Due to the large attendance expected for tomorrow’s game at the Carrier Dome, the Syracuse Police Department is advising SU/Duke basketball fans to leave early for the game and to anticipate traffic delays.

Fans should avoid trying to park near the DOME unless you have a parking permit (all surface lots next to the DOME are permit only). If you don't have a parking permit and want to avoid traffic delays, use the Skytop parking complex located on East Colvin St. The Skytop parking can also be accessed from Ainsley Ave (off E. Brighton Ave). Fans should use the Ainsley entrance to the Skytop parking complex via route 481 to exit 1 (E. Brighton Ave) and follow the DOME parking signs to Ainsley Drive. A shuttle is provided which will transport fans from Skytop to the DOME, and back to Skytop after the game.

The Syracuse Police Department is also reminding motorists parking on the street to adhere to the parking regulations around the DOME. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed and will be towed if necessary. Ticket and towing fees can exceed $175.00.
