Rome Brothers Arrested After Church Burglary

Two Rome brothers have been arrested after police say they broke into a church and then urinating on a church statue.

Rome Police  have arrested 20 year old Andrew Marsh and 22 year old Cory Marsh after the break-in at Saint Peters Catholic Church in January of 2012.

After they broke in, they stole food that was stored in the church pantry, and then urinated on a nativity statue.

The police said they were able to gather DNA at the scene and submitted that evidence to the State Police and eventually they got a match in their database.

The brothers are now being held in the county jail.
