Syracuse Man Sentenced in Liquor Store Robbery Shooting


(570 WSYR RADIO) Shireff Williams was sentenced today to 16 years and 2 years probation for his role in the January robbery of a Syracuse liquor on north salina street and the shooting of owner, 77 year old Thomas Dotterer. Dotterer, a baseball coach at Christian brothers Academy, lost an eye after the robbery at Salina Liquors and Wine. Police say Delvon Harvey was also involved. Dotterer returned to his store about a week after surgery. and dotterer has now returned to coaching baseball at CBA- a job he's held for more than 30 years.. kevin schenk 570 wsyr..
